About Kailager
Kailager Youth Camp is our church’s largest outreach project every year, welcoming young people aged 12–16 for a week of faith, fun, and lifelong friendships. Since its inception, Kailager has grown into a beloved tradition that shapes the spiritual journey of hundreds of teens.
Dates & Location
Camp Dates: 16–22 December 2025
Location: Port Edward, KwaZulu-Natal
Departure: 8–10 C.R. Swart Road, Wilro Park, Roodepoort — 16 Dec @ 05:00
Return: 22 Dec @ 20:00, same location
Fees & Payments
Camp Fee: R2,800 (includes meals, accommodation, transport & activities)
Deposit: R500, due by 15 October — non-refundable
Full Payment: Due by 30 November (cash, EFT, card, or installments accepted)
Banking details are provided on the registration form. Please use your camper’s name as reference.
Mobile Phone & Electronic Device Policy
We welcome phones and electronic devices during travel for safety and entertainment. To create a meaningful camp experience centered on authentic fellowship and spiritual growth, all electronic devices are securely stored upon arrival.
Secure Storage
- All devices are stored in our professional-grade security safe
- Each device is individually catalogued and tagged
- Access is limited to authorized camp leadership
- Devices are returned before departure on the final day
Travel & Emergency Access
- Full use permitted on bus journeys to and from camp
- Parents can reach campers anytime through the camp office emergency line
While our secure storage system provides excellent protection, we recommend leaving valuable or irreplaceable devices at home. The camp cannot accept liability for any unforeseen loss or damage to personal property, including phones kept by campers outside of the safe.
Camp Rules
- No smoking, alcohol, or use of personal phones during camp
- Gender-separated accommodation and quiet-time guidelines apply
- Respect for leaders, fellow campers, and camp property is expected
- Release, POPIA consent, and media consent forms must be signed by a guardian

- Any chronic medication (clearly labelled)
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this my teen’s first camp?
No experience is needed — campers of all backgrounds and camp experience levels are welcome and will be well looked after by our leadership team.
Is medical support available?
Yes. A designated first-aider is on site throughout camp, and all medical aid and emergency contact details are collected during registration.
Can my child call home?
Personal phones are stored safely during camp, but parents can reach campers anytime via the camp office emergency line.
